This week whilst driving I had one of those moments....
My thoughts had (once again) turned to success and how to achieve it, at the same time I was considering the route I was taking on the journey home which the Satnav was ably guiding me through.
What if we could use a Satnav to guide us to success!
Below are my thoughts of how you could use Satnav thinking to help push you towards your success.
- Searching for Satellites ~ When you first switch on a gps the system has to search for satellites. The system needs to know where it is before it can know where to go. In the same way you must know where you are; this may mean doing a full review of your finances, looking at your current employment, reviewing your physical condition.
- Enter your destination ~ Yeah it's time to tell the Satnav where you want to go. In the same way if you don't know where you want to go or want to achieve you can never hope to get there. Take the time to consider your ultimate destination at the start of everyday.
- Re-routing ~ When roadblocks crop up satnav sends you off in the on the next best available route. When circumstances change you must adapt your plans to continue towards your goal. This correcting of your course is what will get you to your goal in the quickest and easiest way.
- Searching for quickest route ~ The Satnav will go through every possible route to determine the quickest way home. This is where you must come up with your plan on how you will achieve your goal; do you need to invest money, do you need to do physical training, should you quit your job.
Well hopefully this has provided some incite into the beginning thoughts of Satnav thinking.
Back to thoughts of retirement in the next post as i've been doing some serious thinking and planning.
